SEPTA Bus Door Crush Injury

$185,000.00 settlement. A passenger was boarding a SEPTA bus when the doors suddenly closed, crushing him between them. Fellow passengers pried the doors open. He was taken to the ER and diagnosed with a shoulder fracture and soft tissue injuries. SEPTA claimed he tried to jump on while doors were closing and denied the claim. A lawsuit was filed and eventually settled for $185,000.00.
